Over the years, the Rebbe received thousands of letters daily from people of every conceivable background, occupation, or creed.

People continue to send their letters today, to be placed in the Ohel seeking the Rebbe's blessing and guidance.

The letter can be written in any language, and when signing it, or when mentioning another person's name in it, the person's name and their mother's name should be included (for example: Itzjak, the son of Sarah). It is preferable to use the Hebrew name.
