Two enemies of Moshe, Dathan and Aviram, and 250 distinguished members of the community join the mutiny, offering the saint. <i>ketoret<\/i> (incense) to prove they are worthy of the priesthood. The earth opens and swallows the rebels, while fire consumes the offerings of <i>ketoret<\/i>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A subsequent plague is stopped by the offering of <i>ketoret<\/i> of Aaron.
