Moses instructed Joshua to organize an army. The next day, Joshua led the Jewish people into battle, while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went to a nearby mountain to pray.<\/p>\n<p>When Moses raised his arms in prayer, the Jews prevailed; when he lowered his arms, Amalek prevailed.
