Rabbi Israel Baal Shem Tov, the founder of the Hasidic movement, taught that from everything one sees or hears, one should learn a lesson in service to God. The idea behind this concept is that God does not create useless things in His world, but rather that everything has a reason for being. Sometimes we easily understand the why of things, sometimes it requires deep analysis to reach a conclusion, and sometimes we simply don't understand. But that doesn't mean that occurrences and events (throughout the universe) lack meaning or purpose.

Everything is part of a comprehensive Divine plan that includes and contemplates everything, at every moment, even the most (seemingly) insignificant things.

Given this, we must learn something from the heat that surrounds us these days.

Of course, there is no single teaching. There can be many, and each person can draw different ones; they can even be contradictory, and yet they do not signify a contradiction in God.

Likewise, the different opinions of recognized sages (such as those of the Talmud, or the commentators who follow the rules of Torah interpretation given at Mount Sinai along with the Torah) are all valid, despite being different.

So, going back to the heat, we can understand that there can be many lessons.
