If a person is not poor but wants a loan to expand their business, it should also be given interest-free. While not as high a standard as the previous one, it is still a mitzvah.<\/p>\n

Do not give the loan if you think the borrower will squander the money and then have nothing with which to pay it back.<\/p>\n
It is expressly forbidden for two Jews to enter into a loan involving any form of interest.
