Esta tarde mi hijo mayor, Shlomo, estaba dibujando sobre un papel blanco, entrenando las letras y los n\u00fameros cuando, por iniciativa\/rebeli\u00f3n propia, decidi\u00f3 hacer un dibujo del otro lado del papel (no donde estaban los ejercicios). Luego levant\u00f3 el papel y me indic\u00f3 que mire el dibujo que hab\u00eda hecho. Pero no se ve\u00eda nada… ‘\u00bfQu\u00e9 dibujo?’, le pregunt\u00e9. ‘\u00a1Este!’, y me mostr\u00f3 el mismo papel… pero yo segu\u00eda sin ver nada…<\/p>\n

One of the key points for preserving identity is understanding that one is different from others. In every aspect: a human being, an individual with rights and obligations, an inhabitant of the earth, of a country, of a society, etc. Of course, this doesn't have to have negative connotations; it simply highlights one's own identity and that of others.<\/p>\n
If we want to preserve and strengthen our Jewish identity, we must understand and accept that we are different. Neither better nor worse. Just different.
