The spirituality of the home depends on the woman and her actions. Our sages call her by various names, each of which symbolizes a fundamental characteristic of the woman in relation to her home.<\/p>\n
For example, the expression used in the Talmud to refer to the wife of some of the rabbis is "His house." The woman is the pillar of the house. Without her, the house falls apart.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, she is compared to the "ground" because she is the foundation of the house. She is also called a "tent" because she protects all those around her. She is called "Glory" because she glorifies the home by striving to the utmost to establish a household according to the laws of the Torah.<\/p>\n
It is the woman who puts into practice the Mitzvot of the Jewish home, teaching her children to follow the right path.<\/p>\n
