Moshe was born in Egypt on the 7th of Adar in the year 1393 BCE and died also on the 7th of Adar, 120 years later, in the year 1273 BCE.
This day was chosen as the Day of the Chevra Kadisha - the Holy Society - who are in charge of dealing with everything related to burials according to Jewish tradition.
This day was chosen according to the teaching of our sages that God Himself buried Moshe on the day of his passing.

Hello, our sages explain that being born and dying on the same day is a sign that the person was a Tzadik, a righteous person. The language of the teaching says that "God fills the days of the Tzaddikim, day by day," meaning that the life of such people is full and complete in their personal work and their connection with God.
This does not mean that someone who is not born and dies on the same day is not a Tzadik, but, certainly, this matter of birth and death is a sign.
