People think that the Torah is about something: that it comes to explain our world, what happened and what will happen, where everything belongs and what to do with it.
In a way, that's true. But ultimately, the Torah isn't about everything; everything is about the Torah.
God emanated light, created a world and filled it with events, people and things, all so that we have means and metaphors to discuss His thoughts.
