One of the fundamental pillars of education is example. It is a proven fact that the example parents set has a profound impact on children. They observe and imitate adults. Furthermore, this idea applies to all aspects of life.

It is worth noting that, just as parents receive visitors at home, children will do so with their friends; just as parents talk on the phone with their friends, clients, relatives, etc., children will learn to relate to others.

Our attitudes directly influence our children's behavior. Running a red light or breaking a traffic law (not to mention yelling at another driver out the window or similar actions), whether near or far from children, can generate negative attitudes in them.

Bearing this aspect of education in mind, when our children do not accept the rules or limits we impose on them, we must first analyze our own behavior before condemning their attitudes.
