The first instruction of the Shulchan Aruch (lit. Table Set, referring to the Jewish legal code) states: "Be strong like a lion when you wake up in the morning to serve your Creator." The simple reason for this is that the first struggle a person faces in serving God is getting up in the morning...

Some thoughts to help you understand: think of it this way: every night your soul ascends to heaven to recharge. This morning, God chose to return your soul to your body and give you the gift of life once more, a sign that there is still some hidden corner of the world in darkness waiting for you to illuminate it. God trusts that you can do it.

In verbal form:

Mode aní lefaneja melech jai vekaiám she-hejezarta bi nishmatí behemlá, rabá emunatéja.

I thank you, living and eternal God, because you returned my soul within me; great is your faith in me.
