This chapter explains the laws regarding who passes behind the synagogue or who prays in congregation, whether they may extend their prayer, who wants to add to their Tefillah, and where to relieve themselves. It addresses whether eating or doing any work is prohibited before the morning or additional prayer (Musaf). Once the time for the afternoon prayer arrives, it is forbidden to enter a bathhouse or eat. If they have already begun, they do not need to interrupt. It also specifies when these activities are considered to have begun. Eating is prohibited before the evening prayer. The chapter also addresses whether those attending to the needs of the congregation and those studying Torah should interrupt their prayers. It further specifies who is praying and for whom they interrupt. Finally, it addresses whether women, slaves, and those attending to the bed of a deceased person interrupt their prayers.
