This is the first book of the Mishneh Torah of the Rambam, Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon. Laws of the Foundations of the Torah.
This chapter explains that all Jews were commanded to sanctify God's name. It addresses when one should allow oneself to be killed rather than transgress, and vice versa. It discusses whether one can be cured (of an illness) through idolatry, forbidden relationships, or murder. It defines profaning God's name (chilul Hashem). It also covers the proper conduct of a teacher toward his students and all other people.
