This chapter explains that it is forbidden to trade with idolaters three days before their festivals. It addresses whether it is permissible to send a gift to an idolater on their festival day, and whether an idolater who sent a gift to a Jew is forbidden to trade with the idolater on their festival day. It also discusses whether the day an idolater crowns a king is like their other festivals. It questions whether it is permissible to sell an idolater something specifically for idolatry in that place, or to sell them something that would harm the public. It prohibits entering a city that practices idolatry and building a dome for it. It prohibits renting a business to an idolater and selling one's house to an idolater. It addresses the prohibition against an idolater playing flutes and going to an idolater's market.
