With great pride and joy we want to announce the creation and upcoming opening of a Jewish culture series called "Our Life, Our Culture".

The main idea of the series is to express how Jewish life and culture go hand in hand. That is, Jewish culture is not an addition to Jewish life, but a consequence of it.

Jewish life is deeply connected to the Torah. It is the Torah, through its laws and teachings, that defines what Jewish life is like in all places and all times.

Jewish culture develops around Jewish life, expressing the eternal laws and messages of the Torah and the idiosyncrasies of a people chosen by God to be the bearers of His message and beaten and suffered by the diasporic exile (i.e., the different places where they had to live and adapt to the environment, never losing their original source and identity and guide for everything - the Torah).

This cycle will include an art exhibition, music recitals (chamber music, musical ensembles, women's singing), a series of lectures on various topics (sexuality, education, science, etc.) and an exhibition of Jewish books with different Jewish publishers.

This cycle will begin this Sunday, August 20th, with the opening of the Pictorial Exhibition "Judaism and Art", at 5pm, in the Malvinas Cultural Center, 19th and 51st Streets, to which everyone is invited.
