Fear

Captivity begins when you believe you are small and the world is big.

The next step is believing that it will pass you by, and you fear it.

Then you begin to obey him, to run after him. Then you become his slave, thirsty for water for the soul but without even remembering where to look for it.

The fear of the world is the denial of the Oneness of its Creator.
