Know that along with every blade of grass and every electron, your thoughts and decisions are also guided with the same wonderful sense and purpose by the One who created and directs all things. You only need to decide to do what is right, and His holy hand will guide you on that path.
This is what trust in the Director of the Universe means: the conviction that since He is the essence of good, then all things work together for good. The obvious good.
If so, what are you so worried about? Even when your own mind determines what to do and how, even then, He is there.
I think that sometimes, even when we believe we're making the right decisions, and no matter how good they seem, we must always be sure we are in God's will. I trust that, as He told Joshua, He will never leave me nor forsake me, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily what God wants. I ask the Almighty for clarity to know His thoughts and for wisdom and strength to accept His Holy Will.
