On the other hand, if what you're saying is that Hashem is within matter, then yes, that is indeed the case.
The Sefer Yetzirah says that there are three dimensions that define everything in the universe: space, time, and spirit. That would be, in your words, the other state of matter, the spark of Hashem invested in that object, giving it life.
