The Torah and, consequently, Judaism in general (which is based on and nourished solely and constantly by the Torah), are the first Zionist movement in Jewish history.

So, the idea of going to the Land of Israel and living there isn't new. But as with everything, the Torah always goes a step further than what a mere human being could conceive.

In addition to advocating for the settlement of the Land of Israel, from the perspective of the Torah we could pose the following question: And now? Now that we have arrived, settled, and live in the Holy Land, what do we do? Are we like other peoples who live in their ancestrally inherited or conquered lands?

The obvious answer is NO. There must be a consistent life plan that, once we are on our Earth, leads us to the next step in drawing closer to God.

In other words, it is not enough to simply GO to the Land of Israel, one must LIVE there according to the teachings of our Holy Torah, the Torah of Life.
