According to the organization of education in modern society, some of the most important issues in our lives are not included in the school curriculum: how to be a good spouse, a good father, or a good mother.
We generally learn through experience and then through practice, sometimes too late to repair the damage. It's common nowadays to repeat the same mistakes as the previous generation. Parents' problems and errors become examples for their children, who unconsciously repeat them.
That is why it is fundamental for the success of the family in general and of the individual in particular to have a reference system "external" to their own being, that is, a system that does not depend on the temporal or spatial circumstances of the human being, an "absolute" system.
This system is the Torah. The Torah embodies God's wisdom on how to realize each person's full potential in every area of their life, such as spouse, parent, friend, employee, employer, etc.
That is why the study of Torah and the observance of its Mitzvot are the foundation upon which the Jewish family has successfully stood from the days of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to today.
