Este Shabat se llama Shabat Jazón – Visión. La razón de esto es porque la lectura de profetas que sigue a la de la Torá (la Haftará) comienza con la palabra Jazón Ishaiahu, la visión de Ishaiahu.
However, our sages recount that during the night of this Shabbat, everyone has a vision, that of the Third Temple. Regarding this, there is an explanation from Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev, of blessed memory, which goes something like this:
A father gave his son a beautiful shirt. The son put on the shirt and went out to play in the woods. By the time he returned, the shirt was in tatters, as the son had not taken care of it as such a fine garment required. So the father gave him another shirt, even more beautiful than the first, and warned him to take care of it. But the boy neglected the shirt and tore it.
Entonces el padre confeccionó una tercera camisa, más hermosa aún que las anteriores, la puso en un armario, se la mostró al hijo y le dijo: «cuando sepas cuidarla, te la daré». Y año tras año el padre abre el armario, le muestra la hermosa camisa al hijo y le dice «cuando sepas cuidarla, te la daré»
Así fue con el Primer y Segundo Templo. No supimos cuidarlos y nos fueron quitados, «los rompimos», por así decir. Entonces Di-s preparó un Tercer y eterno Templo, lo «guardó» y una vez al año nos muestra esta impresionante construcción Divina. Este es el Shabat Jazón – visión.
It depends on us whether God gives us the Temple and redeems us from our exile, diaspora or otherwise. It depends solely on our learning to behave as children of the King of all kings, the Holy One, blessed be He.
