The holidays are over; Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret, and Simchat Torah have all passed, plus Shabbat, which, so to speak, was "attached" to the festivities. From the solemnity and seriousness of Rosh Hashanah to the joy and dancing of Simchat Torah, many emotions were experienced at the Chabad House in La Plata.
Our wise men explain that everything in the universe can be defined in three dimensions: space, time, and soul.
In time, as described, the holidays of the month of Tishrei passed, a month full of Mitzvot and special moments.
In the space, Beit Chabad offered meaningful, enjoyable, commented and explained services, where each person who participated could enjoy a familiar, welcoming and friendly atmosphere, where prayer can be carried out with joy and devotion.
And in my soul, every comment, every explanation, and every Farbrengen (meeting after each KiddushIt was geared towards personal growth and development, fostering friendship and respect among people, and drawing closer to God with love and reverence. Each participant left with something to work on for the rest of the year.
The month of Tishrei is a general month, containing the energy of the entire year, and it is the job of each of those who participated to project that energy and "good vibes" experienced, to the rest of the year's activities.
If you came, you'll definitely want to come back, and if you haven't come, what are you waiting for?
How do I get there?
