We, the Jewish people, are like one person with millions of faces.

There's no other way to look at it:
What one of us eats, we all chew.
When one of us performs an act of divine kindness, we all participate.
If one of us is suffering, we all share the pain.
When one person rejoices, we all dance and sing.

None of us can say to the other, "It's your fault!" We all share the blame for each other's failures. And even more so, we share the benefits of each other's good deeds.
