A child who feels loved by his parents is more likely to identify with them, their values, and their ways of behaving.

The more complete and clearly demonstrated the love is, the more secure the child will feel, allowing them to concentrate on their tasks and achieve maturity more quickly.

Parents should avoid ambivalent situations, that is, showing intense love followed by moments of extreme anger and intolerance. Nor should they take out their frustrations and unhappiness on the child. This makes the child insecure, unsure of what to expect next, and their energy, which could have been used for studies or other tasks, is blocked.

Parents must be careful that their mood swings do not affect their children, always striving to create a harmonious atmosphere within the home.
