The world to come is a perfectly rational and natural consequence of the order of things. After all, nothing is lost; even the body is merely transformed into earth. But nothing is lost.
The person you are is not lost either. It simply returns to its source.
If your soul attached itself to the material world during its stay here, then it must painfully separate from it to make the journey back.
But if she was nothing more than a traveler, connected to her source at all times, then the journey home is heavenly.
