Between the head and the heart there is a narrow passage called the neck.
This is an advantage for us, so that when the heart rushes frantically with its desires and fears, the head can still observe from its privileged position above the rapids and steer the heart back onto its course.
It is also a disadvantage for us, because the head must speak very loudly and clearly to be heard by the heart that is so far below.
If there is a divergence between them; it produces what is commonly known as: A knot in the neck.
