Let no one think: Who am I and what am I to have such power of construction and destruction?
Because we have already witnessed, to our dismay, the destructive potential of atomic energy. If such power lies hidden in so little matter—power for destruction, in denial of the design and purpose of Creation—how much greater is the creative power provided to each individual to work in harmony with the Divine purpose. For in this case, one is also provided with special abilities and opportunities by Divine Providence to achieve the goal for which we were created: the realization of a world of goodness and holiness.
People generally perceive themselves in terms of their limitations as mortal beings. However, there are times that require transcendent actions. One must, at times, do more than one seems capable of. For every mortal is endowed with a Divine soul and the power to transcend mortal limitations.
