There is the body, the soul, and then the essence. If the soul is light, the essence is the source of light. If the soul is energy, the essence is the generator. It's not something you possess. It is who and what you are.
Whatever we do, we dance around this essence, like a spaceship orbiting that can't land. We can meditate, we can be inspired, but to reach our essence, the place from which all this comes, requires a power beyond.
This is why there are seasons in life, empowered from beyond. Special days and special nights, times of crisis and times of joy that touch the very essence. In other times you can move forward. In those special times, you can leap into a new way of being.
