The secret of our existence is that we are a people who dwell alone" (Bamidbar 23:9), a people who believe in one God, guide their lives according to a Torah, which is eternal and unchanging.
Our independence of thought and conduct is not our weakness but our strength. Only in this way can we fulfill our function as ordained by the Creator, that is, to be "a kingdom of priests and a holy nation" (Exodus 19:6), and a source of merit for all humanity.
