The ancients observed the sky and gazed at the stars and their constellations. They honored them as messengers of divine energy and life, as if they were the embodiment of the forces of nature and the origin of human passions.
They were wise, but they were foolish: they abandoned the Lord for the servant. For in reality there is only One, and all the rest is merely a tool in His hand.
Modern man looks at the news, the financial pages, and sees there all the forces that can build or destroy his career, his retirement plans, and his success as a human being.
He too is a fool, because there is only One, and all the rest is nothing more than a tool in His hands.
