Some think it's all about doing good and staying away from evil.
For them, the struggle has no inherent meaning; to have fought is to have failed. Success, they imagine, is like a sweet candy without any trace of bitterness.
They are wrong, tragically wrong. The struggle is an opportunity to reach the end, when darkness itself transforms into light. In the midst of the struggle, an inner light awakens. A light so profound that it overcomes the darkness, envelops it, and transcends it.
But if darkness never fights back, how will it ever be conquered?
All the blessings of Hashem to the entire Beit Chabad La Plata team, their families, friends, and all those around them. Thank you for the light you give me each week. Shalom.
Amen!
