A strong light is hostile to the eyes. An intense light will burn and destroy. An immense body of light will vaporize everything, turning molecules into atoms, atoms into particles, and particles into energy.
An infinite light, however, knows no limits. It can go anywhere and in any situation. Nothing can say to infinity, "I can't stand you! You are too powerful for me!" because, if that were the case, it would be a limitation for infinity.
That is the name the Kabbalists use for God, the Infinite Light. No place is too small, no moment too insignificant, for the Infinite Light to reveal itself within it.
