Everyone needs a mentor. And that mentor needs a mentor. And that mentor needs another mentor too; no one can pull themselves out of a well by pulling their own hair out.
Go out and find someone you can lean on for advice and guidance, someone who understands you and whom you can trust and respect. If that person doesn't want to, insist and be persistent.
Don't wait to become a student. Be proactive and make someone your teacher.
