""There is nothing higher than pleasure," say our sages. All of Man's desires, his reflections and thoughts, his words and all his actions, all emerge from his sense of beauty, of pleasure, from his search for what is most elegant and pleasurable.

As in Man, the microcosm, so it is in Creation. The essence of each thing is the Creator's pleasure in it. When that pleasure is revealed, everything merges into a complete unity, a magnificent symphony in absolute harmony.

And where is this pleasure of God found? In the simple individual who does good, turns away from evil, desires peace and pursues it.
