""God said to him, 'Jacob, do not be afraid to go down to Egypt...'" (Genesis 46:3)
Pain is real. Fear is not real.
The pain is real because we are not in our true place. Nothing is in its true place. It's called exile. The exile of the soul.
Fear is not real. There is nothing to fear. Because no matter where we are, God is there with us. Because He is everywhere.
The only thing we should fear is that we will no longer feel the pain. That we will imagine this is our place after all.
Because it is the pain of knowing we are in the wrong place that lifts us above this place.
