The Baal Shem Tov once said that he was capable of rising to the heavens in a chariot like Elijah did, but that he preferred to achieve a transformation of "...And to the earth you will return (Bereshit 3:19).".
Because by diving deep down, as low as you can go, you can reach much higher.
So sometimes it seems like your life has taken a very negative turn, or that the world around you has taken a great leap backwards,
You should know that this is merely a necessary prelude to a great leap forward and upward that will soon arrive.
From the perspective from above, everything was always moving upwards only.
